KV 190/03
190/03
Mozart composed a small number of works for more than one solo instrument and orchestra. Depending on the local traditions of the places where they were written, these works were titled Concertone (i.e., large concerto), Sinfonia Concertante, Symphonie Concertante, or simply Concerto. Among the fragments is the first movement of a Concerto for Piano, Violin, and Orchestra, KV 315f, which Mozart began in Mannheim in November 1778 on his way back to Salzburg.
